About the publication
Architectural judgment for everyday decisions.
The Architect's Edit is an independent home-product publication edited by Sergio C., AIA.
The premise
Products become part of the room.
Home products are often presented as isolated objects. Architecture asks a different set of questions: How does this change the room? Does it work with the dimensions, materials, and patterns of use around it? Will its maintenance and installation make sense long after the photograph is taken?
The Architect's Edit applies that perspective to focused product categories. It is intended to make choices clearer, not to make every option sound equally desirable.
The editor
Sergio C., AIA
Sergio is the architect and editor behind The Architect's Edit. His role here is to bring practical design judgment to product selection and to distinguish that judgment from manufacturer claims, retailer information, and commercial relationships.
No additional biography, project history, awards, or affiliations are presented without approved source material.
The standard
Clear about what is known—and what is judgment.
Product facts should be tied to exact models and supportable sources. Editorial conclusions should be plainly identified. Reservations belong in the Edit, and compensation does not determine selection.
