The short version
The Architect's Edit may earn a commission when readers buy through some links, at no additional cost to the reader. A commission does not determine which products are selected, how they are ordered, or what the editorial conclusion says.
What may appear
Affiliate and non-affiliate options can sit together.
Products and retailers may be included even when no commission is available. Where a verified commercial relationship exists, it should be clearly labeled near the relevant shopping information. A link should not be assumed to be affiliated merely because it leads to a retailer.
What does not change
Compensation is separate from selection.
Editorial designations—including Architect's Pick, Best Value, Technical Standout, Alternative, and Reservations—are editorial judgments. They are not calculated from commission rates or affiliate availability. Sergio's Take is authored commentary and is not supplied by a brand or retailer.
