The Architect's Edit uses product photography to identify and discuss products in an editorial context.
Our approach
Permission and provenance matter.
Whenever possible, photography is supplied directly by the manufacturer or used with permission. The Architect's Edit does not assume that photographs appearing on a company or retailer website are automatically unrestricted for editorial reuse.
Our records
Image decisions are documented.
The publication keeps records of photography sources, permissions, credits, and usage conditions. Images are reviewed, removed, or replaced promptly if a rights holder raises a concern.
Editorial independence
Image permission and editorial judgment are separate.
Supplying or approving photography does not guarantee inclusion, placement, or favorable coverage. The publication's selections and conclusions remain independent of photography access.
