Privacy
Privacy policy.
A plain-English account of what this site collects, what it does not collect, and what happens when you follow a link to another website.
Effective and last updated: August 27, 2026
Current practice
The Architect's Edit is currently a read-only publication. It has no user accounts, contact form, comments, newsletter signup, analytics service, advertising pixel, or embedded third-party media. The site does not currently set cookies or use local storage, and its retailer links do not contain affiliate tracking.
Scope
About this policy.
This Privacy Policy explains how The Architect's Edit ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with this website (the "Site"). It does not govern a retailer, manufacturer, or other website that you visit through a link from the Site.
Information
Information you provide.
The Site does not currently ask you to submit personal information. If a contact method is added later and you choose to use it, we may receive the information you provide, such as your name, email address, and message. We will update this policy when any contact form, newsletter, account, comment, survey, or similar feature is activated.
Technical information
Like websites generally, a public hosting, content-delivery, or security provider may automatically receive limited technical information needed to deliver and protect the Site. This can include an IP address, browser and device type, operating system, requested page, referring page or domain, date and time, and response or error information. The Site does not currently use that information for behavioral advertising or visitor profiling.
The Site is hosted and delivered by Vercel. Vercel may process website traffic and service-generated information—including IP addresses, approximate location derived from an IP address, request details, device or system information, timestamps, diagnostics, and logs—to provide, secure, maintain, and troubleshoot its services. Vercel handles that information under its own privacy notice.
Cookies and tracking
No site analytics or advertising trackers are active.
The Site does not currently set cookies, store information in your browser, run an analytics service, use an advertising pixel, or use session replay or fingerprinting. We will update this policy before or when any analytics, newsletter, affiliate tracking, advertising, personalization, consent, or similar technology is activated.
External links
Retailers and other third-party sites.
The Site includes direct links to retailers, manufacturers, and other sources. The current retailer links are identified as non-affiliate and contain no affiliate tracking parameters. When you follow an external link, the destination may receive ordinary connection information, including the referring site, and may collect or use information under its own privacy policy. We do not control those third-party practices.
If affiliate links are activated later, they may include identifiers that allow a retailer or affiliate network to attribute a visit or purchase to The Architect's Edit. We will update this policy to identify the relevant partners and practices when that occurs. Any material connection will also be disclosed clearly near the recommendation or link; it will not be disclosed only in this Privacy Policy.

Why information may be processed.
Limited technical information may be processed to deliver the Site, maintain reliability and security, prevent misuse, and diagnose errors. Information sent through any future contact method may be used to respond to the message and maintain appropriate business records.
We may make information available to service providers only as reasonably necessary for services such as hosting, content delivery, security, or communications; to comply with law or protect rights and safety; or as part of a business transfer. We do not currently sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising.
Retention and security
Proportionate safeguards.
The Site does not currently maintain visitor accounts, form submissions, newsletter records, or analytics profiles. Technical information processed by Vercel is retained under Vercel's applicable settings and policies. We retain information within our control only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, legal obligations, or dispute resolution.
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the nature of the information involved. No website or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
U.S. privacy rights
Rights depend on where you live and which laws apply.
Some U.S. state privacy laws give eligible residents rights concerning personal information. Depending on your state and subject to applicable law, those rights may include access, correction, deletion, or portability, and the ability to opt out of certain sales, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling. You may also have a right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising a privacy right.
These laws generally apply only when a business meets specified thresholds or other criteria. Listing these possible rights does not mean that a particular law currently applies to The Architect's Edit. We will honor verified requests when required by applicable law and may also respond voluntarily where practical. We do not currently sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising, so there is no such activity to opt out of on the Site today.
Children
Not directed to children.
The Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please use the contact information below.
Changes
Updates to this policy.
We may revise this policy as the Site changes, including when hosting, analytics, affiliate tracking, newsletters, forms, or other services are introduced. The date above will show when the policy was last updated. Material changes will be presented in a reasonably prominent way when appropriate.
